How to be a Good Friend

Being a good friend is about being reliable, kind hearted and thoughtful. If you're willing to be there through the hard times, stand up for your friend and to share your thoughts and cares with a friend then you'll develop and maintain a friendship that endures and is reciprocated in kind.

One good friend is priceless and taking the time to fulfill your role in the friendship is worth every moment.
There are several steps to be a good friend:

  1. Be real.
  2. Be honest.
  3. Be loyal.
  4. Be respectful.
  5. Watch out your friend.
  6. Pitch in for friends during times of crisis.
  7. Give thoughtful advice when asked add perspective but dont insist that your friend does as you say.
  8. Give your friend space.
  9. Listen.
  10. Share.
  11. Live by the golden rule.
  12. Hate the act, not the person.
  13. Seek to deepen your friendship over time.
Anyway, 'friend in need is a friend indeed.'
