Health benefits in Pistachios

Pistachios are rich source of energy; 100g of nuts contain 55 calories. Nonetheless, the nuts contain many health benefiting nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins that are essential for optimum health.

The nuts are rich in mono-unsaturated fatty acids like oleic and an excellent source of antioxidants. Regular intake of pistachios in the diet help to lower total as well as bad LDL cholesterol and increase good HDL cholesterol levels in the blood. Dividend Policy

I would like to share about my 13th chapter of Financial Managerial of Principal.

Dividends are payments made to stockholders from a firm's earnings, whether those earnings were generated in the current period or in previous periods.

Dividends may affect capital structure.
  • Retaining earnings increases common equity relative to debt.
  • Financing with retained earnings is chapter than issuing new common equity.

Dividend Policy means once a company makes a profit, management must decide on what to do with those profits. They could continue to retain the profits within the company or they could pay out the profits to the owners of the firm in the form of dividends.

Once the company decides on whether to pay dividends they may establish a somewhat permanent dividend policy which may in turn impact on investors and perceptions of the company in the financial markets. What they decide depends on the situation of the company now and in the future. It also depends on the preferences of investors and potential investors.

FACEBOOK Advantages and Disadvantages

Facebook has been a widely known name among people who are so into it. People who have their account on Facebook are using more of their time to get in touch with other individuals despite the distance and lack of time. Facebook has been a great community for many people., it has its advantages and disadvantages. Series of improvements are now being made in system just to make up with the Facebook problems. Facebook advantages and disadvantages are listed below.

Advantages:

  • Lets user search for new and old friends.
  • Available to chosen universities having a high level of security.
  • Makes it less difficult when communicating with strangers or individuals you do not know.
  • Makes it simpler to join groups having corresponding likes and dislikes.
  • Lets users to check students who are in the same class, living within the same location, or coming from the same academy.
Disadvantages:
  • More and more people.
  • Long distance relationship weakening.
  • Unsupported by physical adjacency.
  • Contributes wide-range procrastination.
  • Rampant addiction.
  • Possible stalking.
  • Acquaintances be labeled as friends.
Certainly, the disadvantages are not a threat to you just by simply looking at it. A user must realize what he is trying to give out otherwise things might get messy and people will mistake them as someone else.

It is apparent that a trade off is happening between the advantages and disadvantages of Facebook.

In spite of the Facebook advantages and disadvantages, it still is getting demand and popularity among the young people. There are about 10,000 students who are joining Facebook everyday. This is irrespective of the age, race and country. Some are now trying criticize the status of professionalism of this website whether its just another craze like other online networking service are.

Love my UMMi so So much !

Mom = Ummi

My Ummi carried me for nine months. She felt sick for those months nausea, then she watched her feet swell and her skin stretch. She teared. She struggled to climb stairs, she got breathless quickly and she even suffered many sleepless nights. She then went through excruciating pain to bring me into this world. Then, she became my nurse, my chef, my maid, my chauffeur, my biggest fan, my teacher and my best friend. She struggled for me, cried over me, hoped the best for me and prayed for me. Most of us take our mom for granted. I love my Ummi so so much more than anything else in the world. Miss her badly :'(

Devils Make A Third

What do you do if you love someone so so much but you can't get married?
That's the answer guys --> stay stay away from them!
It's not like if you stay away from them, its the end of the world.
or...u can't live without them. right?.. right?..
Those statement are ust overrated. You know it and I know it.
That love so so much is coming from your desire, nafsu. Fight it!
We are fighters, yeah! :)
In fact, fighting your lust, desires is the biggest jihad.
because once you're involved in these kind of things, you're gonna stray.
First, you're texting, then calling, then going out together in groups, then you're going out ust the two of you.
And everyone knows when an unmarried couple meets alone,
shaytan is amongst them.
This will eventually lead to "u know what". hmmph..

Hadith - Ahmad and Al-Tirmidzi 311, Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab,
Tirmidzi transmitted it.
The Prophet (SAW) said, "Whenever a man is alone with a woman, the Devil makes a third."

Basically, what I'm saying here everyone already knows.
Its a reminder to me, you them, they, we, us.
Its just a matter of choosing Islam above your desires.
Ask yourself, can you live your life with the love of your life.
That you love so so much
but without the love of ALLAH SWT?
nauzubillah...

# If you're married, that's a different story.

Give a Heart to ALLAH

"When you go closer to Islam, it's natural for you to become alone. People won't be there as much as there were, and you'll have a hard time connecting with anyone on any sort of level. But, ALLAH does this give you strength, to enrich you with independence from imperfection and to rely only on Him."

Subhanallah...just by reading the above statement is already comforting for me :')
Indeed, ALLAH is always with us...Alhamdulillah..

The Rules of Muslim

Muslim men and women should be keen to adhere to Islamic customs and attitudes, and to follow the Islamic way in their expressions of joy and sorrow and their clothing, food, drink and all their affairs.

It is not permissible for them to imitate the kuffar in their clothing by wearing tight clothes that show the shape of the 'awrah, or by wearing thin and see-through clothes that show the 'awrah and do not conceal it, or by wearing short clothes that do not cover the chest, forearms, neck, head or face. End quote.

Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah, 3/306, 307

THINK ABOUT IT!

  • Be like the bee, which lands on fragrant flowers and fresh branches.
  • You do not have time to seek out people's defects and mistakes.
  • If ALLAH is with you, then whom do you have to fear? If ALLAH is against you, then what hope do you have?
  • The fire of envy consumes the body, and excessive jealousy is like raging fire.
  • If you do not prepare today, then you will not be able  to do anything tomorrow.
  • Withdraw peacefully from places where idle arguments are going on.
  • Let your morals and attitudes be even more beautiful than a garden.
  • Do acts of kindness and you will be the happiest of people.
  • Leave people to their creator, leave the envier to death, and forget about your enemy.
  • The pleasure of Haram actions is followed by regret, loss and punishment.

WHY???

When I look around, so many things touch my heart. Like kids walking with their parents, laughing and giggling. Or I see an elder couple, walking in to a store, as the husband trying to open the heavy door for his wife, smiling at her. Or I see people in the store passing me by and returning the smile that I gave them...Then there are some moments it make my head shake and trying to figure out why people are so nasty to one another...Like I trying to drive to turn and some man will not stop for the stop sign, Then, I honked the horn so he will not hit me...Then as he took the right a way, he drive arrogant by and flipps the middle finger at me. So much ugliness truely surrounds us...Why people have to be so nasty to each other..May ALLAH (SWT) grants us Peace and Joy on earth...Ameen

I asked ALLAH for strength and ALLAH gave me difficulties to make me strong, I asked ALLAH for wisdom and ALLAH gave me problems to solve, I asked ALLAH for courage and ALLAH forgives me obstacles to overcome, I asked ALLAH for love and ALLAH gave me troubled people to help, I asked ALLAH for favours and ALLAH gave me opportunities. Maybe I received nothing I wanted, but I received everything I needed T.T

Why is curiosity so important?

It makes your mind active instead of passive. Curious people always ask question and search for answers in their minds. Their minds are always active. Since the mind is like a muscle which becomes stronger through continual exercise, the mental exercise caused by curiosity makes your mind stronger and stronger. It makes your mind observant of new ideas. When the ideas come, they will soon be recognized. Without curiosity, the ideas may pass right in front of you and yet you miss them because your mind is not prepared to recognize them.

Just think, how many great ideas may have lost due to lack of curiosity?

It opens up new worlds and possibilities. By being curious you will be able to see new worlds and possibilities which are normally not visible. They are hidden behind the surface of normal life and it takes curious mind to look beneath the surface of normal life, and it takes a curious mind to look beneath the surface and discover these new worlds and possibilities. It brings excitement into your life.

The life of curious people is far from boring. It's neither dull nor routine. There are always new things that attract their attention, there are always new 'toys' to play with. Instead of being bored, curious people have an adventurous life.

Laziness Is Kin To Failure

"ALLAH is my Lord and I do not associate anything with Him."

Keep busy, not to give in to laziness and idleness. Rather, we should take care of our house and home library and do our duties and our work, or pray, or read Qur'an or useful books, or listen to useful tapes, or sit with our neighbors and friends and talk to them about things that will bring them closer to ALLAH. Then, we will find happiness and joy, by ALLAH's leave. And beware of giving in to idleness, for this will lead to worries, anxiety, devilish whispers and doubts that nothing can relieve except hard work.

We should take care of our appearance, wear perfume at home, keep our house tidy and meet our siblings, relatives and friends and looking cheerful, with a ready smile and an attitude of contentment.

Beware of si for it leads to grief, especially the sins that are very common among woman such as forbidden glances, wanton adornment, being alone with a non-mahram man, cursing, slandering. backbiting, denying one's husband's rights and not acknowledging his acts of kindness. These sins are very common among women, except for those on whom ALLAH has mercy, so beware of incurring the wrath of ALLAH and fear Him, for fear of ALLAH is what brings happiness and a clear conscience.

"When distress strikes and calamities come one after another, then say: La ilaha illallah."

Simple Steps to Master Your Use of Time

Manage your time and set goals...Watch this video to learn how

Time and Goals

One of the first things that graduate students is that there is never enough time in the day. Time management entails more than keeping a calendar, however. It is requires identifying your obligations, carefully considering their importance, and making choices about how to use your time.

  1. Use Multiple To-Do Lists: At this stage in your life it is likely that one to-do-list isn't enough. Use multiple lists to organize tasks by topic or context. For example, you might maintain separate lists for each area of your life such as home (for grocery lists, bills, and household tasks), social (for lists of friends and family to call, email, or contact on Facebook) and school (obviously, for maintaining lists of school-related tasks like assignments and meeting with professors).
  2. Be Flexible: While to-do lists are wonderful for helping you to organize and prioritize your life, remember that there will always be interruptions and distractions. Try to allow time for them.
  3. Say "No.": Sometimes we take on too much. Whether it's extra courses, or responsibilities, or extracurricular activities, consider how important each is to you before agreeing.
  4. Go with Your Flow: Consider your own biological peaks and lows. Are you a morning person? Or are you at your best at night? Plan your day accordingly. Save your most difficult work for the times when you're at your best.
  5. Make Use of Wasted Time: Have you ever noticed how much time you spend commuting, standing in lines, and waiting (for doctors, advisors, etc.)? Carry pocket work to make use of that time that would otherwise be wasted. Carry a short reading assignment or flash cards for studying. Or use the time to write in your planner and organize yourself. Ten minutes here, fifteen minutes there it all adds up and you'll find that you can get more done.
  6. Seat deadlines for Yourself: Academic work entails many steps. Set a realistic deadline for each step. How do you determine what's realistic? Sit down wit a calendar and think about how much time you will spend on your project each day and what you can complete in that time. Use your estimates to set deadlines. Recognize that you may have ti adjust your deadlines. We often overestimates the amount of work that we can accomplish. Take this tendency into account by beginning your assignments early.

DO NOT DESTROY YOUR HEART WITH YOUR OWN HANDS!

"...there is no god but You, glory to You, verily I was among the wrongdoers." (al-Qur'an 21:87)

Avoid everything that wastes time, such as looking at immoral magazines, indecent pictures, bad ideas, heretical books or immoral stories. You should seek out that which is beneficial and useful, such as Islamic magazines, beneficial books and articles that will benefit a person both in this world and in the Hereafter. Some books and magazines instill doubts in the heart and lead one stray. This is the effect of the decadent culture that has been imported to us from the world of disbelief and has spread throughout the Muslim world.

Remember that with ALLAH are the keys of the unseen, and He, the Almighty, All-Merciful, is the One Who brings relief from worry and distress. So turn to Him and call upon Him, and always repeat the Dua'.

Count The Blessings That ALLAH Has Bestowed Upon You

".......take what comes to you and give thanks." (al-Qur'an 7:144)

Count the blessings that ALLAH has bestowed upon you...

When morning comes, remember that the sun is shining upon thousands of miserable women, but I am blessed; it is shining on hundreds of hungry women, but I have plenty to eat; it shines on thousands of women who are imprisoned, but I am free; it shines on thousands of women who have been stricken with calamity and lost their children, but I am happy and healthy. How many tears flow down woman's cheeks, how many mother's heart filled with pain, how many screams come from girls throats---but I am smiling and happy. So, praise ALLAH, the Exalted, for His kindness, protection and generosity.

Let's sit and think, and be honest with yourself; look at the numbers and statistics. How many things do you own, how much wealth do you possess, how many blessings do you enjoy, how many things do you have thet bring you delight? Beauty, wealth. children, a home, a country, light, air, water, nourishment medicine? Rejoice and be of good cheer.

"Buy with charity the dua and love of the poor and needy."

ALLAH's everything...

Life could be so much bearable, and filled with peace joy and love if we would just learn to respect and be kind to everyone around us. We all must listen to the gentle voice within our heart. We should ignore the negative thoughts and listen to the gentle voice of reasoning. We should accept everyone at their face value, and reach out to them if they need help. Realize ALLAH (SWT) is home in our heart, and He will guide us, the right way...Something to think about!!!

Marriage Connecting People

bismillah...

Assalamualaikum...Today's entry will be presenting on marriage as known as "Nikah". As we know definition of marriage is that, it is a solemn and sacred social contract between bride and groom. This contract is a strong covenant (mithaqun Ghalithun) as expressed in Qur'an 4:21). The marriage contract in Islam is not a sacrament. It is revocable. In the mutual agreement between bride and groom, both parties mutually agree and enter into this contract. Both bride and groom have the liberty to define various terms and conditions of their liking and make them a part of this contract.

Islam has a complete guideline in every single thing in human life including in marriage. Upon the marriage process, the marriage-gift or "Mahr" is a divine injunction. The giving of "Mahr" to the bride by the groom is an essential part of the contract. ALLAH S.W.T. said in The Holy Qur'an: 'And give the woman (on marriage) their mahr as a (nikah) free gift" (Qur'an 44)

A Love Letter from a Muslimah to her Future Husband

Dear my future husband,

I don't know you,
But,
If you love me,
don't confess your love to me through haraam ways,
This won't please me and will instead drive me away!
Love games don't attract me.
If you love me,
have sabr and I will knock on yor door when the time is right.
Don't give me privileges which I don't deserve.
Keep me away from you,
and I will approach you.
If you approach me with a wrong ways,
I will stay away from you.
Don't love me, for I want you ignorance in love.
I want to teach you love when the right time comes and you will be mine.
Only when we are joined together under our Creator's satisfaction.
Don't tell me what you feel, don't give me from your time, don't push me to lose you.
I am a woman who does not want to see the one she loves committing sins or to live a forbidden love behind his family's back.
I don't want him to feel guilty and don't want his heart to suffer.
Put me under limits that I won't cross, kill me inside you so I won't grow kill you inside me.
Preserve what is beautiful inside you.
I want you innocent, chaste, pure.
I want you my love, but with Allah's blessings and not shaytan's whisperings.
And then, only then, I will face everything and will be ready to go through difficulties to get you.
Don't be easy because then, I may not value you.
Don't love me now, so I won't hate you!
My heart wants you and doesn't want to lose you.
I don't want you to be just a passing fancy for me,
I want you a husband, a lover, the father of my children, I want you to be the one I will spend my whole life with.
How could I be a faithful woman to you when I try to break your chastity?
how would I be faithful to you if I push you to betray your family?
How could I trust a love which grew under Allah's wrath?
To make you mine through niQah is Islam's way,
Till then wait patiently and do not dismay,
To love you menas to protect you.
To love you is to bring you closer to Allah and HIS deen.
To preserve you not kill what is beautiful inside you.

-Your Wife-to-be (Insha-ALLAH!)

As a Woman...

look at the stars
"As a woman, Islam tells me, I'm not here on display and my body is...

"As a woman, Islam tells me. I'm not here on display and my body is not for public consumption
I'm not to allow anyone to reduce me to an object
I'm a soul, a mind, a servant of GOD
I don't worship beauty standards and I don't submit to fashion sense
My submission is to something higher
My worth is defined by the beauty of my soul, my heart
my moral character, and so when you look at me,
thet is all you should see, NOT my body
With my veil I put my faith on display, rather than my beauty
because my value as a human being is defined by my relationship with God and so I cover the irrelevant
and when you look at me you view me only as what I am, a servant of the Creator."

It's such a strange rush of emotions when you're going through a bad time in your life and then after it has a passed you realize that Allah put you through it because He had a better plan for you.

Sometimes Allah SWT takes everything from you so that you may turn to Him, and sometimes Allah SWT places certain people who let you down in your life to teach you that you should never depend on anyone but Him. Allah SWT will never let you down. Believe it !

sleeping with a smile

One of the greatest feelings ever. Knowing that, you're so tired yet it was it because your day was just completely amazing. You're content, and satisfied with how the day treated you. Nothing got in the way of your happiness that day, and everything just went as planned. Your mind is clear from all negativity, and you're just, happy. You go to sleep knowing that, it wasn't a wasted day, and you didn't have to worry about a thing.

Friday, 18 November 2011

Imagine a day when you were so hungry. Imagine a day when you were so thirsty that your tounge went dry and hard. Now imagine feeling that every daily of your life. Imagine trying so hard to fall asleep so you won't feel the pain in your stomach. Imagine wishing you didn't wake up everyday so that you can escape the suffering you have to deal with in your life. Imagine watching your malnourished babies starve to death. Imagine that...we can solve world hunger if we wanted to. If we really tried. Restaurants would rather throw away the food that has already been cooked than give it to a homeless center that is maybe a few blocks away. People don't want to spend a couple dollars a month to send to starving countries and save lives but they would spend thousands of money on clothing, shoes, or make-up. If you enjoy buying those things, then go ahead, all i'm saying is there are people out there who need you. Who need us. You might read this and just ignore it. But just imagine if you were in their place. Wouldn't you want someone to care?

Road to Jannah

A kid's version to "Road to Jannah"

masha_ALLAH, that was so sweet ...to see the kid who did it :)

Wish we understood this clearly!

We may sometimes feel the urge to give in to temptation. It would be as easy as breathing. What I've come to realise is that this is easy for a reason. The path to hell is always easy. The devil tempts you because he wants you. He wants you to suffer in hell with him. And that is why there are so many temptations in this dunya. But nothing good ever came without hard work. Jannah is not cheap. Jannah is the prize of all prizes. Its not going to be easy because you have to restrain yourself from all the temptations that are around you. But be strong, if you truly want to please Allah, and if you truly want to get to Jannah, ask Allah for his help. Ask him for his guidance. As long as your intentions are pure and good, then you could never fail. Believe in youself, and believe in your faith. InshaAllah I hope we all get to meet one day in Jannah ...

think it!

Honestly, if your teacher or professor gave you all of the answers for your assignments, tests, quizzes and exams, wouldn't you use them? Would you just ignore that knowledge and try to find a way of your own? Allah SWT has given us these answers - plainly written in the Qur'an and His Prophet's Al-Hadith. Then, what stops us?

Bismillah: A man came to al-Hasan al-Basree, the noble Tabi'i (rahimullah), and:

1- complained to him of poverty.
So he said to him, 'ASK FORGIVENESS OF ALLAH'.

2-Another man came to him complaining that he did not have any children.
So he said to him, 'ASK FORGIVENESS OF ALLAH'.

3- A third man came to him complaining of the barrenness of his garden.
So he said to him, 'ASK FORGIVENESS OF ALLAH'.

For indeed Allah, the Perfect and Most High said: "I said to them, 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord, indeed He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance and He will give you increase in wealth and children and bestow on you gardens and rivers". [Nuh (71):10-12]. AllahuAkbar!

[Take 60 seconds...] Increase in seeking forgiveness in these special days of Dhul Hijjah which are most beloved to Allah. Imagine all the people in Hajj seeking forgiveness. Seek forgiveness for yourself and all the muslims!

TOUGH LOVE your life is not a song, a story, a TV show or a movie. Your life is your life. Live it instead of playing a part in it. Don’t let yourself fall prey to ideas of romantic, sensationalist rhetoric. Life is not about love or money or fame, life is about making the right choices and coming closer to ALLAH. Recalibrate your soul towards ALLAH and stop worrying about fairy tales and fame.

For this entry, i would like to share the recipe of caramel pudding. For your information, caramel pudding is my favorite pudding, you know. Why i like to make it? Because the ingredients to make it is so simple. No need a difficult item to make it. Only 5 ingredients are needed to make this rich and flavorful caramel pudding. This make-ahead dessert is sure to be a family favorite :)

So, the listed ingredients for this recipe:
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation:
  1. In a bowl, whisk 1/2 cup milk, cornstarch and egg until we blended.
  2. In a 2 to 3 quart pan over medium-high heat, tilt and swirl sugar until melted and deep amber, about 4 minutes. Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups milk, mixture will bubble and sugar will harden. Stir until sugar melts again, about 2 minutes.
  3. Whisk about 1/2 cup of the caramelized sugar mixture into cornstarch mixture, then return all to pan. stir over medium-high heatuntil pudding thickens and begins to bubble, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour into bowls and serve warm. Or let cool, chill airtight up to 2 days, and serve cold.

CHOOSE!!!

Only a fool would choose the option on the left right? The next time the muazzin is calling the azan, remember he is calling you towards success i.e. Jannah. Will you respond to this call and uplift yourself, or will you not respond and continue watching TV or browsing Facebook and choose the path on the left?

life is your choice

Anyway, this video made me cry a lot. SUBHANALLAH ...such a great message to the world its certainly opening my eyes and my mind ...

May ALLAH keep us steadfast in our prayers ..the only thing that separates a believer from a non-believer is the PRAYER. Oh ALLAH never lets us stay to the wrong path ...

اللهم ارزقنا قبل الموت توبة وعند الموت شهادة وبعد الموت جنة ونعيما

A man reached 70 years of age and he faced a disease; he could not urinate. The doctors informed him that he was in need of an operation to cure this disease. He agreed to have the operation done as the problem was giving him much pain for days.

When the operation was completed, his doctor gave him the bill which covered all the costs. The old man looked at the bill and started to cry. Upon seeing this the doctor told him that if the cost was too high then they could make some other arrangements. The old man said “I am not crying because of the money but I am crying because Allah let me urinate for 70 years and He never sent me a bill.”

and if you try to count the blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them… {Surah Ibrahim}

We are blessed with Allah’s(swt) countless blessings; but we only realize the blessings when we run short of it or if it is impaired etc.
~~~
Let me highlight the moral behind this story..
For 70 years Allah s.w.t. allowed that old man to urinate for free.. (:
Later then he was infected with a disease which impaired his bladder or urinal passage, the doctor did an operation and it was successful, thus he could urinate normally once again.. BUT it comes with a PRICE/BILL..
See?? For 70 years Allah allowed him to urinate for free..
But when a normal human being ‘allowed’ him to urinate.. he was charged (: (:
Peace Be Unto You
Have a blessed Friday :)
Salam Alaykom everybody :)
Are you familiar with the Friday Sunnahs in Islam?
Sunnah means the words and acts prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did, where Muslims should act on & on the teachings of Quran.
Some of the Sunnahs of Friday are the following:
1-To take a bath. (Ghusl)
2-To wear nice and clean clothes.
3-To proceed early to the Masjid.
5-To try to sit as close as possible to the Imaam.
6-If the rows near the Imam are already filled, one should not jump over the shoulders of the musallies
7-To recite Surat Al-Kahf before sunset [Quran:18]
Have a blessed Friday :)
The Camel Hump Hijab Style
”BEWARE MY SISTERS IN ISLAM, AVOID WEARING MODERN WAYS OF HIJAB’S KEEP IT NICE, SIMPLE AND WELL COVERED.”
Many Muslimahs are taking this trend and forgetting that it is wrong for them to wear the Hijab in the camel hump style. The bigger you do the hump the more you look like an alien! Muslimahs that wear the camel hump style are cursed.
The Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wasallam also stated,
“There will be in the last of my Ummah, scantily dressed women, the hair on the top of their heads like a camel’s hump. Curse them, for verily they are cursed.” [At-Tabarani and Sahih Muslim]
Abu Hurairah relates that the Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wasallam said, “There are two categories among the inhabitants of Hell whom I have not encountered. The first are people who carry whips like the tails of cows and beat the people with them. The second are women, clothed yet naked, drawn to licentiousness and enticing others to it, their heads like the swaying humps of camels. They will neither enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance, though its fragrance can be found to a great distance.” [Sahih Muslim]
Think about the way you dress. Is it to please others? Or is it to please Allah? Islam, the name of our beautiful religion, simply means “submission” to Allah alone. He is aware of our intentions, which must be aimed to be done for Him, simply due to the fact that He is our Creator and He has ordered it.
As is said in the Qur’an, “And He is Allah, [the only deity] in the heavens and earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.” [6:3]
Allah clearly illustrates how a woman should wear it properly in the Qur’an,
“And say to the believing women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to expose their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their headcovers to cover their chests, and not to display their beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their womenfolk, or what their right hands rule (slaves), or from the men who have no physical desire, or the small children who are not aware of the private aspects of women, and not to stomp their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments (jewelry). And turn to Allah in repentance together, Oh Believers, so that you may succeed.” [24:31]
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF TORMENT OF THE HELLFIRE!! MAY ALLAH HELP US ALL, AMEEN
My Love Letter
╔══╗
╚╗╔╝
╔╝(¯`v´¯Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
╚══`.¸ALLAH
Ya Allah, I would love to meet You. And when that day comes, I hope You would have forgiven me, for all of the wrongs that I’ve done, whether it be intentional or not. And when that day comes, I hope You will love me too. Because perhaps, there is really nothing more that I want than You loving me.
Yours sincerely,
Me.
We do hundreds of sins everyday. yet we do not repent. Then we say ‘Allah, Allah,’ when a calamity is sent. Too busy in worldly things, too busy with our money. When told of horrifying Jahannam, we laugh and say it’s funny. In every house there is a TV. we sit and watch it everyday. When the Prophet’s name is mentioned, we say, ‘be quiet and go away. We have no time to say Allah’s name, nor give money to the poor. We turn away baggers‘, who come knocking at our door. We sit and eat plentiful, while in the world some people die. We’ve forgotten the word Assalaamu Alaykum, but say ‘Hi, Hello and Bye.’ We know death is sure to come, yet we do not prepare. When told that we will go to hell, we say, ‘Oh, I don’t care.’ We say, ‘Heaven is nice, Heaven is nice, it is surely made for me,’ But with all the sins we do, we shall have to wait and see. So be prepared, ask for forgiveness from Almighty Allah the Great. Don’t sit there lazily waiting, for then it will be too late.
“If you allow dunya to own your heart,
like the ocean that owns the boat,
it will take over. You will sink down to the depths of the sea.
You will touch the ocean floor.
And you will feel as though you were at your lowest point.
Entrapped by your sins and the love of this life,
you will feel broken. Surrounded by darkness.
That’s the amazing thing about the floor of the ocean.
No light reaches it. But, this dark place is not the end.
Remember that the darkness of night precedes the dawn.
And as long as your heart still beats, this is not the death of it.
You don’t have to die here. Sometimes,
the ocean floor is only a stop on the journey.
And it is when you are at this lowest point, that you are faced with a choice.
You can stay there at the bottom, until you drown.
Or you can gather pearls and rise back up—stronger from the swim,
and richer from the jewels.”
Wear your Deen as a crown on your head and hold the Dunya in your hands. Whenever your crown of Deen moves outta place, you have to empty your hands of the Dunya to fix it (:
A Christian man asked a Muslim man why do Muslim women cover their hair and body? The Muslim man smiled and pulled out two sweets from his pocket, he opened the first one and kept the other one closed in its wrapper, he thew both sweets onto the dusty floor and asked the Christian man which sweet would you pick? The man replied the covered one! The Muslim man replied that’s how we treat our Muslim women.
Indeed the righteous woman is the pillar, cornerstone and foundation of the Muslim family. She is seen as the greatest joy in a man’s life, as the Prophet said:
“This world is just temporary conveniences, and the best comfort in this world is a righteous woman. ”
Deeds in 60 seconds
Bismillah: [REFLECT] If this WATER which humans DEPEND on for LIFE was to sink deep in the ground [which is an easy reality] - who will get us water to drink?
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَاؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَاءٍ مَّعِينٍ
Qul aRa'aytum in aSbaha maa'ukum ghawran, fa man ya'teekum bi maa'in MA'EEN
Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" [Quran 67:30]
[FOOD FOR THOUGHT?] If ALLAH was to change suddenly (overnight) your water or the water sank deep into the Earth or If it was made unavailable to you, then who could bring back to you the water that is Ma'een?
[Ma'een i.e water on the surface which is flowing calmly and smoothly (i.e. like a stream/pure/cool). Even this word is very soft to pronounce and pleasing to say and hear. AllahuAkbar!].
[Take 60 seconds…] and reflect on ayah 1 & 30 of Surah Mulk and thank Allah swt for the water which He provides. Alhamdulillah.
A STORY ABOUT A MARRIAGE MEETING
Once there was a very handsome, pious, well educated young man, whose parents emphasised for him to get married. They had seen so many marriage proposals, and he had turned them all down. The parents thought it was becoming a little ridiculous or suspected that he may have someone else in mind. However every time the parents left the girls house, the young man would always say 'she's not the one!' The young man only wanted a girl who was religious and practicing, however one evening his mother arranged for him, to meet a girl, who was religious, and practicing. On that evening, the young man, and girl, were left to talk, and ask each other questions. (As one would expect). The young man, being a gentleman that he was allowed, the lady to ask first. The young girl asked the young man so many questions, she asked about his life, his education, his friends, his family, his habits, his hobbies, his lifestyle, his enjoyment, his pastimes and his experiences. The young man replied to all of her questions, without tiring, and politely, with a smile the young girl took up nearly all of the time, over an hour, and felt bad, and asked the young man do you have any questions? The young man said, it's ok. I only have 3 questions... The young girl thought, wow, only 3 questions okay, shoot. The young man's first question was, Who do you love the most in the world, someone who's love nothing would ever overcome? She said, this is an easy question; my mother, he smiled second question, he asked, you said that you read a lot of Qur'an, could you tell me which Surahs you know the meaning of? Hearing this she went red and embarrassed and said, I do not know the meaning of any yet, but I am hoping to soon insha'allah I've just been a bit busy. The third question the young man asked, was I have been approached for my hand in marriage, by girls that are a lot more prettier than you, why should I marry you? Hearing this the young girl was outraged, she stormed off to her parents with fury, and said I do not want to marry this man he is insulting my beauty and intelligence. And the young man and his parents, were once again, left without an agreement of marriage. This time, the young mans parents were really angry, and said what did you do to anger that girl, the family were so nice, and pleasant and they were religious like you wanted. What did you ask the girl?? Tell us! The young man said, firstly I asked her, who do you love the most? she said, her mother, The parents said so, what is wrong with that?? The young man said, 'no one, is Muslim, until he loves Allah, and his messenger (saw) more than anyone else in the world' If a woman loves Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) more than anyone, she will love me and respect me, and stay faithful to me, because of that love, and fear for Allah (swt). and we can share this love, because this love is greater than lust for beauty. The young man said, then I asked, you read a lot of Qur'an, can you tell me the meaning of any Surah? And she said no, because I haven't had time yet. so I thought of that hadith 'ALL humans, are dead except for those who have knowledge' She has lived 20 years and not found ANY time, to seek knowledge, why would I marry a woman, who does not know her rights, and responsibilities, and what will she teach my children, except how to be negligent, because the woman IS the madrasa (school) and the best of teachers. And a woman who has no time for Allah, will not have time for her husband. The third question I asked her was, that a lot of girls, more prettier than her, had approached me for marriage, why should I choose you? That is why she stormed off, getting angry. The young man's parents said that is a horrible thing to say, why would you do such a thing, we are going back there to apologise. The young man said I said this on purpose, to test whether she could control her anger. The Prophet (saw) said 'do not get angry, do not get angry, do not angry' when asked how to become pious; because anger is from Satan. If a woman cannot control her anger with a stranger she has just met, do you think she will be able to control it with her husband?? So, the moral of this story is, a marriage is based on, knowledge, not looks, practice, not preaching, Forgiveness, not anger, spiritual love, not lust. and compromise One should look for a person who 1) Has love for Allah (swt) and the messenger (saw) 2) Has knowledge of the deen, and can act upon it. 3) can control her anger and another important and crucial factor. that she be 4) willing to compromise. And it goes both ways, so women seeking a man, should look for the same things. Insha'allah, may Allah make every marriage a success, and let us create Love for Allah and his messenger(saw) so that Allah can bless us, and create love in our lives. Our beloved prophet (may peace be upon him) said: There is no better structure founded in Islam other than marriage.
